New Product Development
From concept sketch to mass production – our in-house engineering team handles design, prototyping, tooling and quality validation for new household products.
Process
Our Development Process
- Concept Brief (1-3 days) – You send us a sketch, reference sample or detailed spec. We review feasibility, material options and production method. If the concept requires modifications for manufacturability, we suggest alternatives.
- Design Review (3-5 days) – We produce a technical drawing with dimensions, material specifications and surface finish. You review and approve before prototyping begins.
- Prototype Development (15-25 days) – We create functional prototypes using 3D printing, CNC machining or soft tooling. Prototypes are tested for fit, function and appearance. We ship 2-3 samples for your evaluation.
- Tooling & Pre-Production (20-35 days) – After sample approval, we build production tooling. Pre-production samples (PPS) are produced from the actual tooling for final approval.
- Mass Production (25-35 days) – Full production run with in-process QC checks and final AQL Level II inspection before shipment.
Total development timeline: 60-75 days from concept to mass production for most plastic household products.
